In Islamic eschatology, the Day of Resurrection (Arabic: يوم القيامة, romanized: Yawm al-qiyāmah ) is believed to be God'southward terminal assessment of humanity. Other names for it in the Quran are the Day of Reckoning, the Last Day, and the Hour (al-sā'ah). The sequence of events (co-ordinate to the most commonly held belief) is the anything of all creatures, the resurrection of the body, and the judgment of all sentient beings. At this time everyone is shown their deeds and actions in regard to justice.

Belief in Resurrection Twenty-four hour period is considered a fundamental tenet of faith by all Muslims: it is one of the six articles of faith. The trials and tribulations associated with information technology are detailed in both the Quran and the hadith (the sayings of Muhammad), and they have been commented on and explained in the commentaries of important Islamic expositors and scholarly authorities such as al-Ghazali, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Majah, Muhammad al-Bukhari, and Ibn Khuzaimah.
